I can't help but obsess over the gorgeous Austin home from Camille Styles. Everything about it is perfect to me and as we are starting to get into our home renovations this couldn't have come at a better time.

I'm thinking I need to incorporate some floating shelves in my life.

I think we can all let out a collective sigh now.

Pretty Ballerina

My girl is the sweetest little ballerina that I have ever seen. It seems we can't go anywhere these days without her practicing her arabesques, battements, and piroettes. I couldn't be more proud!

(I was so busy beaming and holding back big fat tears that I completely lost control of the camera. I better work on my skills before the recital!)

I have been in a bit of a funk the last couple of days but it seems that all it took was a little spin around the block with these two characters to put me in a much better mood. They are so crazy (SO crazy) and I love every second of it.

Feeling Better

After a 2 week battle with a double ear infection  my boy is finally getting back to normal. Nothing makes me happier than seeing him resting peacefully and giving his little body a chance to recover.  He might be developing quite the temper (an epic diaper rash will do that to you, I imagine), but he is still the sweetest little butterball I have ever seen. I think this is going to be a great weekend, I can feel it.

We're Still Here

I hope to update the blog soon, but I just couldn't resist sharing this picture of my sweetheart. He is nine months old already. Can you believe it? Time sure is flying by and he is getting cuter by the second.

Emma's School Christmas Party

Insisting on wearing her Christmas dress on the last day of school she was definitely the belle of the ball! All of her teachers came up to me with the most hilarious stories of her lengthy descriptions of her special dress, how it makes her feel when she wears it and how her Papi had to clean it after she got a "wittle bit off tee-tee" on it. She is such a ridiculous little person and I love it.

She conversed with her friends about baby Jesus and baby brothers, gave farewell hugs and kisses, picked all of the sprinkles off of her cookies and demanded asked politely for refill after refill of Cheetoh puffs. All in all, I'd say that my party girl had a pretty swingin' time with all of her best buds!

Christmas Crap

What happens when your three year old pronounces her F's like P's? All of your Christmas crafts turn into Christmas crap!

Allow me to explain...

As we were getting ready to go to Hobby Lobby she exclaimed, "Mommy, we're going to the crap store?! Yay!"

As we walked the aisles she yelled, "Wow, look at all of this beaubiful crap!"

While we prepared the coffee table to start our snow globes she told Daddy, "The girls have a lot, a lot of crapping to do!"

When we were all done she said in her most loving voice, "I love crapping with you, Mommy. Christmas crap is so much pun!"

Gotta love her.

Our Weekend

This weekend was a total whirlwind, complete with nearly 1,000 miles driven, a company Christmas party, one beautiful wedding, a few glasses of wine, one cursed speeding ticket, catching up with the greatest friends and a trip to  the ER.
