Beignets

After weeks of begging me to make beignets (thank you Princess and the Frog!) we finally got around to frying a little dough :)

We usually cook together, but this time I let her have a little more "creative control". My kitchen will never recover from all the powdered sugar and sticky dough bits, but it was well worth it to watch her lick all the powered sugar off and not even take a single bite of the actual beignet.
