Emma and I are both a little under the weather today so we are definitely staying home and leaving the extreme cold to those who absolutely have to brave it. Emma has FINALLY embraced her rain boots after I had already long given up the relentless coaxing/bribing on my part to get her to keep them on for more than ten seconds. She remembered that I have some in our closet and brought them to me to put on as well. After I dumped out two bath toys, a race car and used drinking straw (apparently they were housing all of her prized possessions) we were waddling around the house, hand in hand, just the way I like it.
